Safer than the old fashion way
It didn't work better, but was safer than doing what I used to do. I used to clean my microwave by putting water and vinegar in a heavy duty disposable bowl and nuking it till the water evaporated. It is the same thing as doing that, only this product is made to go into the microwave and be nuked so there is less risk of something going wrong. I think it would make a great gift for a college kid or teenager who hasn't learned how to use a microwave without exploding the food.JF, 5.29.2017
Works as claims...spotless microwave!Shirley, 5.6.2017
Worked for me too
I've seen this product in the stores before and I already thought it was cool because of the design, but wasn't thinking of grabbing one of these. Then we got pregnant and my wife couldn't do anything during her first trimester. Long story short, I had to take care of all cleaning of the kitchen and the microwave hasn't been cleaned for weeks. Definitely some caked on foods in there and it was nasty as the the bathroom mirror after flossing your teeth. Anyways, I didn't see the steam cause the microwave window was already blurry to me but after following the directions, I was able to wipe off majority of the splatters. All I used was a paper towel and the instructions said to use the remaining vinegar & water mix to help wipe the harder pieces. Anyways, worked for me and I love the way it looks so yea, I'd recommend it if you're thinking about it. I know there are some life hacks out there but this one just looks cool.Chris L., 2.20.2017

No steam ☹️
I did just as the directions said, and no steam had built up in my microwave. I even did it for a few more minutes… Still nothing… I'm disappointed because I was really looking forward to it working!Louise, 1.29.2017
Worked for me
Okay, to start off, I'm extremely skeptical of "As Seen On TV" products because, let's face it, more than half of them don't work as advertised (sorry, but it's true).
That being said, I was looking for a solution to my dirty microwave problem and wasn't looking forward to scrubbing for an hour. Now, I have BulbHead's Atomic Beam flashlight and lantern, and both work rather well, so upon discovering Angry Mama, I decided to give it a shot.
I filled it up with the necessary amount of vinegar (just regular distilled white) and then I added the water to the line. Side note: if you don't want the vinegar smell throughout your house (or in my case, all over my tiny apartment), do add those few drops of lemon juice (I didn't have lemon juice at the time). I popped it in my microwave and turned it on for 7 minutes. About a minute in, there was a bit of an explosion of water and vinegar that shot up all over the ceiling of the microwave (scared my boyfriend to be honest), but other than that there was no problems. Now I didn't notice any steam coming up through Mama, but I continued to let it run, and once it finished I let it sit for 2 minutes as it described.
I removed Angry Mama and immediately started wiping the walls with a damp paper towel. Now keep in mind, I received this microwave for free as a gift of sorts from a friend when I moved into my apartment, and it had quite a bit of caked-on food, so I definitely wasn't looking forward to wiping it off. But as soon as I started in, it came off rather well. Now I couldn't just wipe it off and be done, I did have to do some scrubbing with the paper towel I was using, but other than that, it came off clean. I was very impressed. I wish I had taken before and after pictures because it would definitely show how well Angry Mama worked for me.
Thank you BulbHead for helping me clean my microwave. Now hopefully I won't need it anytime soon.Trish, 1.5.2017
no steam build up
I thought this would be a solution to cleaning my microwave oven.
I added the vinegar and water to the appropriate places on the base. I put it in the microwave for the 7 minutes on high no condensation build up. I did it again and changed the type of vinegar and that gave the same results. I did it a third time and for 10 minutes and still nothing happened. The concept is a good one but the steam did not come out of the top as indicated on the box. Maybe next time I will try it without the head on. Its a shame because I really wanted it to work.Karen , 11.17.2016
