I purchased the Atomic Beam Headlight and I love it! I especially like the angle adjustment on the light. I'm ordering the lithium battery and charger just so I don't waste money on AAA batteries. I don't care if it's not brighter with the lithium battery, the light is plenty bright enough as it is. And by the way, William is wrong, the three AAA batteries are all wired in series for a total of 4.5 volts. He needed to take a closer look at how they connect to each other in the holder.
This is a Great Flashlight.....At least 20 times brighter than your regular Flashlight out there you would Buy!.....I've bought 2...... I like them a lot, great Flashlight!
this is regarding review about the aaa batteries vs the lithium battery. the review that stated that "how does 1.5 v x3 =4.5v is incorrect, please look at how the batteries are placed in the holder ie two are in series =3v and one is in parallel which increase the amperage, thats why the 3.7 v battery is more powerful.
I've got four of these lights and wouldn't trade any of them. Three out of four are using the rechargeable battery and those three definitely put out a noticeably stronger, brighter light stream.
I love my Atomic Beam flashlight(s). Bought the first one, and immediately purchased this rechargeable battery. Works great, no complaints, but I didn't notice an increase in brightness. Then, after purchasing a second Atomic Beam flashlight, I now have two for a side by side comparison. What difference? And more to the point... HOW? AAA 1.5V x 3 = 4.5 V. The rechargeable is 3.7 V. I'm no engineer, but I do know that VxA=Wattage. How can a lower voltage battery produce more than twice the brightness?
Work as advertised and definitely made my atomic beam flashlight brighter you can see the difference I would recommend it to a friend I bought one for my son
