Bought these for my daughters as gifts. All three have been VERY happy with them for use at work at their desks!! Had I still been working, I would have gotten one for my desk at work, too!
It is worth for me using it with my iPhone on the table or anywhere.
Love this product. It does what it says.
Excellent & so helpful to have
I bought three Desk Call units via As Seen On TV Express: one for my home desk, one for my office desk, and one for my wife. It is very practical and we love it. I would have given it 5 stars, except for a few improvements that could be made to the product. First of all, the base is sturdy and will not easily tip over, but if you press your phone hard enough, the unit will move a little, so I think the base should be a bit heavier (maybe another couple of ounces would be great). Secondly, the range of motion on the up/down tilt could be expanded a little. For me, it does not tilt down far enough for my tastes. For a person taller than 5'7" or someone sitting at desk that's lower than 29", the lowest tilt angle may be fine. I had to lean my iPhone 6 forward a bit at the top in order to achieve the viewing angle that was comfortable to me. Another improvement needed is in the cradle itself. The side arms have an opening in them are deeper than they really need to be, because most phones are not 1" thick. When the phone sits all the way back in the cradle, the side arms prevent easy touch access to icons that display along the right side of the screen (I'm right-handed). This is because they turn in slightly around the sides of the phone and block the left and right edges of the phone screen when you close the arms around the phone. The side arms should remain completely straight when closed and the cradle itself only needs to about one-half inch. Also, the bottom supports block the earphone jack opening and the microphone holes, but at least the lightning charging plug is still accessible. Altogether, this is a very useful product and I would recommend it to anyone who uses a portable device like a cell phone at their desk. If the manufacture makes a few adjustments to the design I've mentioned here, I'd give it five stars.
I love this product. I take meeting minutes and this keeps me hands free and also at a height where I can still speak into my phone and be heard!
