Star Patrol really does what it says. Regular flashlights do not have the brightness that this product does. It's great for emergencies, but also really helps to see in dark closets or dark areas where regular flashlights do not have the power. Thank you for this product.

I had thought about buying the Star Patrol for my husband's birthday (Aug), then again for our anniversary (Oct), but did not. I was second guessing whether it was worth the cost. For Christmas I finally got it for him - I wish I had gotten it sooner! He is beyond thrilled to have it and has shown it to any friends that we saw over the holidays.

I saw the power of the unit and the length of time that the power was available, especially after I upgraded to the higher quality battery. I did this because of a recent power outage that lasted longer than usual . I liked the fact that one unit could brighten up my house interior for over a day ,if necessary. All I had was a 3 cell flashlight that casts only a thin beam of light. I ordered 4 units to give to family members for use in their households. I appreciated the first time discount and the offer of an additional unit. I clicked on the space to include †he additional unit and it was acknowledged. I thought I would be receiving 5, but when the purchase arrived it the invoice showed only 4 being ordered. that was my only disappointment with the order. The product was well received as two other households would benefit from the large amount of light with kids and animals involved .
